Creamy Peanut Toffee is a traditional British recipe for a classic sweet or candy of a toffee made of sugar and condensed milk boiled until it sets that's flavoured with peanuts. The full recipe is presented here and I hope you enjoy this classic British version of: Creamy Peanut Toffee.
Add the butter, sugar and golden syrup to a pan and stir over low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Now add the milk and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and stir for about 8 minutes, or until the mixture becomes the colour of straw. Add the vanilla and peanuts, mixing well.
Pour the toffee onto a well-greased oven tray and leave until set. Slice or break into pieces and store in air-tight jars (not that it will last long!)
