Ingredients:

250g salted butter, at room temperature
150g powdered sugar
90g cocoa powder
160ml golden syrup (light corn syrup)
1 tsp vanilla extract
225g dark chocolate, melted and cooled slightly

Method:

Cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy then work in the cocoa powder until completely combined. Add the golden syrup and vanilla extract and beat until just combined.

Finally work in the dark chocolate, beating until completely combined.

This makes an excellent frosting (icing) for chocolate cakes and cupcakes of all kinds.
