Ingredients:

75g stoned dried prunes
500ml milk, boiling
1 tbsp sugar

Method:

Wash the prunes then place in a bowl and pour the boiling milk over the top. Cover and set aside for 2 hours for the prunes to plump up.

Remove the prunes from the milk and chop into small pieces then return to the milk along with the sugar. Pour the mixture into an oven-proof baking dish then transfer to an oven pre-heated to 200°C. Bake for about 70 minutes, or until the surface of the dish develops a golden, crunchy, skin (the exact time will depend on your oven).

When done, cut into pieces, spoon into bowls and serve.
