This is a classic Siberian drink made from a bread dough base.

Ingredients:

Method:

Whilst preparing bread dough, tear off a small part. Mix this is a jug with water until completely dissolved. Set aside until the flour floats down as a residue (about 30 minutes).

Pour off the excess water, leaving the residue. Repeat the process twice more.

At this point pour over just enough boiling water or milk to cover the residue.

Allow to cool and serve.
