Ingredients:
500g (1lb) boneless lamb, chopped into small pieces
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp green chillies
½ tbsp ground coriander
½ tbsp ground cumin
¼ tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
¾ tsp garam masala
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt to taste
Method:
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and set aside for 3 hours to marinate.
After this time, thread the lamb pieces onto skewers.
Cook on a barbecue (grill) over hot charcoal for 20 minutes until the lamb pieces are golden brown all over and cooked through.
The lamb should be serve hot either still on the skewers or removed from the skewers and presented on a bed of salad.
