350g o flawd codi
75g o fargarîn, wedi meddalu
75g o fenyn, wedi meddalu
175g o siwgwr caster
225g o syltanas
2 ŵy
150ml o lefrith

Dull:

Rhwbiwch y menyn a'r margarîn i fewn i'r blawd nes fod y gymysgedd fel briwsion yna cymysgwch y siwgwr a'r syltanas i fewn. Mewn powlen arall, curwch yhghyd yr ŵyau a'r llefrith yna tywalltwch y gymysgedd i fewn i'r cynhwysion sychion a churwch yn drwyadl i gyfuno. Tywalltwch y gymysgedd i blât pastai enamel neu pyrex yna trosglwyddwch i bopty wedi ei gyn-gynhesu i 180°C a phobwch am 60 munud, neu nes fod y gacen yn euraidd ac wedi gwneud drywodd. Gweinwch yn oer neu yn gynnes, wedi torri'n lletemau.

English Translation


Ingredients:

350g self-raising flour
75g margarine, softened
75g butter, softened
175g caster sugar
225g sultanas
2 eggs
150ml milk

Method:

Rub the butter and margarine into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs then stir in the sultanas and sugar.

In a bowl, beat together the eggs and the milk then pour this liquid into the dry ingredients and beat thoroughly to combine.

Pour the mixture into an enamelled or Pyres pie dish then transfer to an oven pre-heated to 180°C and bake for 60 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve warm or cold, sliced into wedges.
