Curwch yr ŵyau yn ysgafn yna ychwanegwch y siwgwr a chymysgwch yn drwyadl cyn curo nes fod y gymysgfa yn olau ac yn drwchus.
Hidlwch y blawdiau a'r powdwr codi i fowlen yna ychwanegwch y cymysgfa ŵy a cyfunwch yn drwyadl. Tywalltwch y cytew i dun torth 500g wedi ei iro'n dda. Trosglwyddwch i bopty wedi ei gyn-gynhesu i 180°C a phobwch am tua 20 munud, nes i ben y gacen fod yn euraidd ac i sgiwer wedi ei wthio i ganol y cacen ddod allan yn lân.
Gadewch i'r gacen oeri yn y tun yna trowch allan ar resel gwifren a gadewch iddo oeri'n gyfan gwbwl.

Lightly beat the eggs then add the sugar and mix thoroughly. Beat the mixture with a whisk until light and creamy (the final mixture should be almost white and this may take some time).
Sift the flours and the baking powder into a bowl. Add the egg mixture and combine thoroughly. Turn the batter into a 500g loaf tin that's been well greased. Transfer to an oven that's been pre-heated to 180°C and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the top of the cake is golden and a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake emerges cleanly.
Allow the cake to cool in its tin for 10 minutes then turn onto a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
